    INTERVENTION

The incision is located anteriorly near the fold of the groin. It then extends into the groove located between the perineum and the top of the inner thigh and continues back to the gluteal fold where it ends. This incision corresponds to the future scar. Liposuction is associated whenever there is fat infiltration in the area. Excess skin is removed and fixation is made deep to the aponeurotic ligament located at the top of the inner thigh, so as to properly maintain the correction of sagging, prevent the scar from descending and ensure the durability of the skin. a normal and harmonious anatomy. The scar is thus hidden in a natural fold and will therefore be quite discreet. At the end of the operation, a dressing is made with

    GOALS

The purpose of a thigh lift is to:

    Removal of excess skin

    Reduce underlying fatty infiltration

    Deeply tighten the skin

    Firm the thighs

    ANESTHESIA

The thigh lift is performed under general anesthesia

    DURATION OF INTERVENTION/ CLINIC STAY

The intervention lasts an average of 1h30 but it varies according to the extent of the improvements to be made. The duration of hospitalization is on average 1 to 3 days depending on the case.

    RESULTS

You will be able to appreciate the result of the thigh lift within 6 to 12 months after the intervention. In most cases, good correction of fatty infiltration and slackening of the skin is observed, which clearly improves the morphology of the thigh and makes it possible to firm up the thighs. The scars are usually discreet, especially since they are hidden in a natural fold. Thus, thanks to an improvement in techniques and thanks to the experience acquired, the results of this intervention, which had a bad reputation for a long time, have today improved considerably. It is nevertheless a delicate surgery for which the greatest rigor does not in any way protect against a certain number of imperfections or even complications.

  • Improving the tone of your thighs with the practice of physical exercises is not always enough to obtain satisfactory results and redefine your silhouette. The purpose of the inner thigh lift is to eliminate excess skin that persists after a diet or pregnancy.

    DEFINITION

When there is a slackening of the skin at the level of the inner face of the thighs, only a re-tensioning of this skin is likely to correct this defect: this is the thigh lift

  • OPERATIVE FOLLOW-UPS

The postoperative course is essentially marked by the appearance of edema (swelling) and ecchymoses (bruises), the size and duration of which vary from one individual to another. They will regress within 10 to 20 days following the operation. The pain is generally limited to pulling and shooting phenomena. The healing period can be a little unpleasant due to the tension exerted on the edges of the suture: during this period, any sudden stretching movement should be avoided. It is necessary to plan a work stoppage of 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the nature of the professional activity. The practice of a sports activity can be resumed gradually at best from the sixth postoperative week. The scar is often pink during the first 3 months and then it fades as a rule after the third month, and this gradually over 1 to 3 years. It should not be exposed to the sun for 3 months.
