Op. Dr. Mehtap Özkahraman Kırık was born in 1986. She graduated as the top student from Diyarbakır Anatolian Teacher High School and was admitted to Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2004 with a high score. After graduating in 2010, she completed her 4-month mandatory service at Çınar State Hospital while preparing for the Medical Specialization Exam (TUS). In the same year, she achieved a high score in TUS and was accepted into the ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) Department at Sisli Etfal Training and Research Hospital.

She completed her specialization training in 2015 and fulfilled her compulsory service at İslahiye State Hospital between 2015 and 2018. After working in a private hospital from 2018 to 2022, she has been serving patients in her own private clinic since 2022.

After becoming an ENT specialist in 2015, she successfully passed both the written and oral stages of the European Board Examination in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery—held in Genoa, Italy (written) and Vienna, Austria (oral)—and obtained European board certification. She also holds the national board certification in Türkiye. Dr. Mehtap Özkahraman Kırık is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Association.

She performs a wide range of facial aesthetic procedures, including rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, otoplasty, bichectomy, chin aesthetics, and brow lift surgeries. In addition, she offers minimally invasive treatments such as dermal fillers, botulinum toxin applications, mesotherapy, and PRP.

Since 2015, she has actively participated in scientific meetings and has delivered presentations and training courses particularly focused on periorbital aesthetic procedures (oculoplasty), including blepharoplasty, ptosis surgery, and brow lift techniques.
