Calf Implants
Calf Implants: Shape and Balance Your Legs
Calf implants add volume and shape to the lower legs, or correct an asymmetry, using soft silicone implants placed through a small incision hidden behind the knee.
Key information at a glance
What is Calf Implants?
Calf volume depends largely on genetics and grows little with training. Solid silicone implants give a natural, permanent shape.
Procedure Process
The surgeon makes an incision of a few centimetres in the crease behind the knee, creates a pocket under the muscle covering, then places the implant chosen for your body shape. The scar is hidden in the natural crease.
When is Calf Implants used?
The procedure is for people whose calves stay thin despite exercise, or who have an asymmetry (for example after illness or injury). Good general health and good venous circulation are required.
