There are 3 main steps involved:
1) Local anesthesia to ensure patient comfort
2) Discreet incision beneath the nose to remove a small amount of skin
3) Suturing and adjustments to lift the upper lip
Recovery is generally quick, with a return to normal activities after about 5 to 7 days. Medical follow-up is recommended to ensure optimal healing and minimize risks.

What happens after treatment?
Post-operative recovery after a lip lift is generally mild. Moderate discomfort may be felt in the upper lip area for a few days but can be easily managed with standard painkillers. Mild swelling and bruising may appear around the treated area but usually subside within 1 to 2 weeks.
