Read moreWhat is Lipedema Liposuction?
Lipedema is a chronic fat tissue disorder that affects almost exclusively women. It causes a symmetrical, painful build-up of fat on the legs and sometimes the arms, with easy bruising and a feeling of heaviness.
An Adapted Liposuction
The surgeon uses tumescent or water-assisted (WAL) liposuction, with fine cannulas moved along the lymphatic vessels to protect them. Depending on how widespread the condition is, treatment may need several sessions, one area at a time.
Price per Area
The price shown is for one treated area. The number of areas and sessions is agreed during the consultation.
When is Lipedema Liposuction used?
It is intended for patients whose lipedema has been diagnosed by a doctor, with a stable weight, and for whom conservative treatment (compression, lymphatic drainage) is no longer enough. Lipedema is not simply excess fat: it does not respond to diet or exercise.

Frequently asked questions
How does the treatment work?
Anesthesia
General anesthesia, or tumescent local anesthesia with sedation, depending on the extent of the treated area.
Duration
Each session takes about 2 to 4 hours depending on the volume treated.
What happens after treatment?
Walking is encouraged from the next day. A compression garment is worn for about 6 weeks, and manual lymphatic drainage sessions are recommended. Flying home is usually possible after 5 to 7 days, wearing compression stockings.
How long do results last?
Volume reduction and pain relief appear gradually. The final result is assessed after 6 to 12 months, once swelling has resolved and the skin has retracted.
