This technique involves using penile tissue to reconstruct the inner labia, parts of the glans to create the neo-clitoris, and skin grafts from the scrotum to reconstruct the vaginal walls. Hair follicles are removed during surgery, so laser hair removal is not required. This procedure is generally the preferred method.

This surgery uses the skin from your penis or scrotum to create and enhance the vagina, including the outer labia, inner labia, and neo-clitoris. Patients may need hair removal on the penis shaft before surgery to prevent intra-vaginal hair growth, while scrotal hair is removed during surgery. Vaginal depth depends on the quality and quantity of skin available.

A skin graft from your groin may be added for additional depth.
